Dr Mendel Stromm is Norman Osborn's research partner at OsCorp — present at the ill-fated experiment that triggers Norman's transformation into the Green Goblin. A blink-and-miss-it appearance in the original film, he exists primarily as a plot device in one of Spider-Man's most consequential origin moments.

A single variant from a £24.99 set released in 2003, Dr Mendel Stromm is among the rarest figures in the Spider-Man catalogue purely by virtue of having one early variant and no subsequent releases. His value is driven entirely by vintage scarcity rather than character demand — an obscure completionist figure that is harder to source than his character prominence would suggest.
